1. What was the last thing that made you laugh?
I’m a big fan of both TV and live comedy and I think laughter is important in life. I watched the latest episode of Taskmaster last night which made me laugh a lot.
2. What’s one hobby you’re passionate about outside of work?
I’ve played the clarinet since I was 9 and I play in a band called the ‘Central Lancashire Community Concert band’, I enjoy playing music and also listening to it!
3. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received and how has it impacted you?
I can’t remember where it came from but I think a good piece of advice is ‘don’t worry over things that you cant change’, it’s something I say to myself quite a lot.
4. What’s one book or movie that has significantly impacted you?
The book ‘A Short History of Nearly Everything’ by Bill Bryson is a very thought provoking book, it puts things in perspective.
5. What is the latest skill you’ve learned?
A few weeks ago I made a bowl on a potters wheel, it was far from perfect and took several attempts but it looks vaguely bowl shaped and I’m quite proud of my effort given that I’d never done it before!
6. What’s your favourite thing about working at Airframe Designs?
I like the working culture. We are all mainly office based and communicate with each other well. I think we have a great team of nice, hard working people who all help each other to achieve a common goal.
