Job Description
The primary role of the stress engineer is to compile stress reports to demonstrate compliance against a set of relevant structural requirements. Other duties include:
• Compiling structural test plans / reports and observing tests.
• Visiting customers and attending airframe surveys.

Skills & Knowledge
• The ability to perform hand calculations based on first principles of stress and strain.
• Knowledge of metallic and non-metallic material properties and failure modes.
• Knowledge of EASA Part 21J Rules for DOAs and Certification Specifications, especially structural regulations associated with CS25, 27, 29 and FAR, JAR Equivalents.
• The ability to understand and check engineering drawings.
• Keeping abreast of current and future technologies.
• The ability to communicate clearly and confidently both within the business and externally with customers.
• The ability to integrate into multiple teams and projects and become familiar with different company procedures.
• The ability to work independently to provide creative solutions to problems.
• The ability to work efficiently and accurately to a ‘required’ and consistent standard.
• Competence with the engineering tool-set: MS Office, MATHCAD, MSC ONE

Job Description
The primary role of the design engineer is to create mechanical design data (3D models, 2D drawings, schemes and BOMs).
Other duties include:
• Creation of FMEA, User Manuals, CE documentation, design investigations, design reviews, design reports.
• Design representation at customer PDR, CDR, and FDR review gates.

Skills & Knowledge
• The ability to design mechanical structure and create the necessary data sets in a CAD environment.
• The ability to create and complete FMEA, User Manuals, CE documentation, Design investigations, Design Reviews, Design Reports.
• Knowledge of metallic and non-metallic material properties.
• Knowledge and appreciation of designing for manufacture (DFM) and designing for additive manufacture (DFAM).
• Knowledge of EASA Part 21J Rules for DOAs and Certification Specifications, especially design related regulations associated with CS25, 27, 29 and FAR, JAR Equivalents.
• Keeping abreast of current and future technologies.

Skills & Knowledge

Job Description
The primary role of the additive manufacturing engineer is to work within the production facility to assist with the manufacture of ALM polymer parts.
Other duties include:
• Assisting in R&D related to polymer ALM.

Skills & Knowledge
• The ability to operate all equipment in the production facility i.e., printers, ovens, scanners, wash-station etc..
• The ability to develop DFAM products and convert CAD data into ALM slicing files.
• The ability to inspect parts and produce inspection reports.
• Knowledge of all types of polymer filament, applications, limitations, material properties.
• Knowledge of EASA Part 21G Rules for Production Organisations and the relationship / linkage to the customer Design Organisations.
• Keeping abreast of current and future technologies.
• The ability to communicate clearly and confidently both within the business and externally with customers.
• The ability to integrate into multiple teams and projects and become familiar with different company procedures.
• The ability to work independently to provide creative solutions to problems.
• The ability to work efficiently and accurately to a ‘required’ and consistent standard.
• Competence with the engineering tool-set: MS Office, CATIA V5, DIGIMAT, VERISURF, slicing software etc..
