We are pleased to announce a major expansion of our additive manufacturing capabilities with the acquisition of our second Stratasys Fortus 450mc, and the introduction of new stereolithography resin printing technology. This significant investment not only doubles our capacity for producing high-quality, lightweight tooling and rapid prototypes but also broadens our technological horizons, reinforcing our dedication to innovative solutions within the aerospace sector. The Fortus 450mc, alongside our advanced stereolithography capabilities, enables us to work with a wide variety of materials, including ULTEM 9085, ABS, ASA, Antero 800NA, and various resins, catering to a broader range of manufacturing needs.

By utilising additive manufacturing through this high end machine, we are able to create complex geometries, quickly assemble multi-component systems, and rapidly optimise designs, for improved functionality, and especially for applications where low weight is important, showcasing our ability to adapt swiftly to diverse manufacturing needs whilst also addressing the aviation industry’s move towards Net Zero by 2050.

Simultaneously, we continue to actively participate in the NATEP program, in collaboration with Additive Manufacturing Solutions Ltd, Mix14, and valued end users like Airbus Helicopters UK and Aerolux, developing the latest in advanced manufacturing technologies. This engagement underlines our role in driving industry innovation, focusing on developing new materials and processes that meet the stringent requirements of aerospace applications.

Our dedication to pushing the boundaries of technology is further demonstrated by our recent investments in a new five-axis milling machine and our commitment to environmental sustainability. We are proud to contribute to our energy needs using our own solar energy and battery storage system at our headquarters. Additionally, we are committed to the SME Climate Hub, supporting our journey towards Net Zero carbon emissions.

With these latest investments and our continuous commitment to quality and environmental management, as evidenced by our re-certification to AS9100D/BS EN ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 certifications, and achieving Cyber Essentials Plus, we solidify our reputation as a trusted provider of cutting-edge additive manufacturing solutions to the world’s leading aerospace companies.
